Terms of Service — IQBot Cert

01Who we are

IQBot Cert is operated by Diyan, a sole natural-person seller based in Dobrich, Bulgaria (the "operator", "we", "us"). The operator is the publisher of the IQBot Cert desktop software for Windows and the online verification service reachable at cert.iqbotbg.pro.

Payments are processed by Gumroad, Inc., acting as merchant of record. Gumroad's own terms and privacy notice apply to the payment transaction and are available at gumroad.com/terms.

02The service

IQBot Cert is a Windows desktop diagnostic tool that reads publicly documented Android Debug Bridge (ADB) fields from a phone connected over USB and compiles the readings into a PDF certificate. The certificate is anchored by a QR code linking to a public verification page at cert.iqbotbg.pro/c/<ref>.

The certificate is a diagnostic report. It is not a legal opinion, not a warranty, and not an appraisal. It reports the state of the phone at the moment of the scan.

What the certificate does: shows objective readings — model, IMEI (masked), GSMA blacklist status where available, battery fuel-gauge state of health, security patch level, bootloader lock state and 30+ other checks.

What it does not do: guarantee the phone is stolen-free in every jurisdiction, guarantee absence of undisclosed damage, or replace a physical inspection.

03Your account & license

A PRO license is purchased through Gumroad and is delivered as a license key by email. On first activation the key is bound to the machine identifier of the Windows device you activate it on. Subsequent activations on additional machines will be rejected.

You may request a one-time machine transfer by emailing support@iqbotbg.pro with your license key and the reason for transfer. Approval is at our reasonable discretion. Detailed license grant, restrictions and transfer rules are set out in the License Agreement.

04Acceptable use

You agree not to:

use IQBot Cert to certify a phone you do not lawfully control at the time of the scan;
modify, alter, remove or forge any part of the generated PDF certificate or the verification page;
resell, re-brand, sublicense or redistribute the software or its outputs as if they were your own product;
reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software beyond what applicable law expressly permits;
use the software to bypass carrier locks, MDM restrictions, activation locks, or any authentication system;
scrape, spam or overload the verification service, the online IMEI upstream, or the license activation endpoint.

We may suspend or revoke a license that is used in breach of this section, without refund.

05Intellectual property

All rights in the software, the certificate template, the verification service, the domain names, the source code and the brand "IQBot Cert" remain with the operator. Buying a license grants you a right to use, not a transfer of ownership.

The PDF certificates you generate about phones you lawfully control are yours to distribute freely as sales documentation. You may show them, email them, or upload them to marketplace listings without restriction.

06Fees & payment

The current price of a PRO license is €19, one-time. Payment is processed exclusively by Gumroad, which handles VAT collection and remittance for buyers in applicable jurisdictions. We do not see or store your card details.

Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.

07Disclaimers

The software is provided as is. We make no warranty that it is fit for a particular purpose, that it detects every possible form of tampering or fraud, or that the readings are complete on every device model. The certificate reveals attempts to tamper with the PDF by comparing it to the live authority record — it does not cryptographically prevent editing of the PDF file itself; it is tamper-evident, not tamper-proof.

The Android ecosystem includes over 40,000 device models. Vendor implementations of ADB, fuel gauge chips, health HAL and battery health interfaces vary. Some data points (for example battery cycle count on legacy hardware, or IMEI verification when the online provider is temporarily unavailable) may be marked as "not available" on a given phone. This is expected behaviour and not a defect of the software.

Third-party data. IMEI blacklist and TAC lookup results are provided by a third-party API (imeicheck.com) on an "as is" basis. IQBot Cert makes no warranty as to the accuracy, currency or completeness of upstream data. The upstream provider retains the right to suspend service at any time; if this occurs, affected certificates will display "temporarily unavailable" for the online IMEI fields and will remain valid for all local diagnostic checks.

Trademarks. IQBot Cert is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google, GSMA, Samsung, OPPO, Xiaomi, Huawei, Honor, Motorola, Sony, Nokia or any other device manufacturer or carrier. All trademarks and product names displayed by the software or in the generated certificate are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the device being diagnosed.

08Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to your use of IQBot Cert — whether in contract, tort or otherwise — is capped at the amount you paid for the license in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost business opportunities, or the outcome of any sale, purchase or dispute in which an IQBot Cert certificate was used as evidence.

09Termination

You may stop using the software at any time. We may terminate your license without refund if you materially breach these terms, initiate a chargeback that is later resolved against you, or use the software in a way that endangers the service.

After termination, sections 4, 5, 7, 8 and 11 continue to apply.

10Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make a material change, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for existing licensees, note the change on the verification page. Continued use of the software after a change is published counts as acceptance.

11Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria. For any dispute we cannot resolve informally, the competent courts of Bulgaria have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to the exceptions below.

EU / EEA consumers. Consumers resident in the European Union or the European Economic Area retain any mandatory rights they enjoy under the laws of their country of residence, including access to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

United Kingdom consumers. Consumers resident in the United Kingdom retain any mandatory rights they enjoy under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Non-mandatory disputes may, at the buyer's option, be brought before the courts of England and Wales.

United States consumers. Buyers resident in the United States acknowledge that this is a downloadable digital product sold globally via Gumroad, Inc. as merchant of record. Any dispute arising under this agreement that cannot be resolved informally shall, at the buyer's option, be resolved by binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction in the State of Delaware, USA, applying Delaware law without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal that applies to EU/UK consumers does not apply to US purchases; refund rights are governed by our Refund Policy.
