01Grant of license
Subject to this agreement, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and run one copy of the IQBot Cert PRO software on one Windows PC you own or control, for personal or business use, in perpetuity — meaning the license does not expire and is not a subscription.
02One machine, activated once
On first activation, your license key is bound to a machine identifier derived from Windows' MachineGuid. Once bound, activation attempts from another Windows PC will be rejected. This is enforced by the software and by our server.
03Moving to a new machine
If your PC breaks, is replaced, or you migrate to a new Windows install, we will transfer your license once, free of charge, on request. The procedure:
- Email support@iqbotbg.pro from the Gumroad-registered address with your license key and a one-line reason ("new PC", "OS reinstall", etc.);
- We unbind the key on our server within 2 business days;
- You then activate the key on your new PC as normal.
Frequent transfer requests (more than twice within twelve months) will be reviewed and may be refused if they suggest license sharing.
04What you may do
- Scan any Android phone you lawfully control at the time of the scan;
- Generate an unlimited number of PDF certificates;
- Distribute your generated PDF certificates freely as sales documentation (marketplace listings, buyer emails, printed handouts);
- Install the software on virtual machines or physical hardware you own — bound to whichever one you activate on first;
- Use the software for your own retail resale business, repair shop, or personal used-phone flips;
- Use the software commercially inside your own business services — for example a pawn shop, repair workshop, phone reseller or logistics partner offering condition verification to its customers — provided each end-user certificate is generated by you as the licensee on hardware you activated.
05What you may not do
- Share your license key with anyone else — the key stays with you;
- Sell, sublicense, rent, lease or lend the software itself (the installer, the license key or the executable binary) as a standalone product marketed under a different name, or repackage it as a competing SaaS;
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software beyond what applicable law expressly permits (typically for interoperability);
- Bypass, disable or tamper with the machine binding, the online activation check, or the QR verification signature;
- Redistribute the installer to third parties (they should buy their own license — that is what funds ongoing development);
- Use the software to scan phones you do not own, unless you have the lawful right or documented permission to inspect them (for example as a buyer, repair technician, pawnbroker, logistics agent or authorised representative acting on behalf of the owner);
- Use the software to try to bypass carrier locks, MDM, financing locks, activation locks or any authentication system.
06Updates & upgrades
Bug-fix and feature updates within the current major version (1.x) are free for the life of the license. You will receive them automatically or via a download link sent to your Gumroad email address.
If we release a new major version (2.x) with substantial new capabilities, the pricing and eligibility for existing 1.x licensees will be published on the Pricing page. We commit to keeping 1.x fully functional and supported for at least 24 months after the release of 2.x.
07Ownership of certificates
The PDF certificates you generate are yours. You may share them and archive them indefinitely. You may edit the PDF's metadata, but be aware that the QR code will continue to link to the original verification page held by us — any material alteration of the diagnostic readings or the certification result will be revealed by the live verification page and may constitute misrepresentation, for which you are solely responsible. The 90-day retention on our verification server (see the Privacy Policy) applies to the online lookup only, not to the PDF file you downloaded.
08Termination
This license terminates automatically if you materially breach it. In that case we may:
- Revoke the license key on our server (the software will show "license invalid" on next activation check);
- Take down any certificates you uploaded that promote fraudulent claims;
- Pursue civil remedies available under Bulgarian law.
You may terminate the license at any time by uninstalling the software. This does not entitle you to a refund outside the terms of the Refund Policy.
09Warranty disclaimer
The software is provided as is. We warrant only that (a) the license key we deliver will activate one machine when the software is used as documented, and (b) we will make reasonable efforts to fix bugs reported through support@iqbotbg.pro. We do not warrant that the software detects every conceivable form of tampering, replica or fraud, or that every ADB field is readable on every Android device model in existence.
10Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria. For disputes we cannot resolve informally, the competent courts of Bulgaria have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence in the EU/EEA.
